Its juicy fruit and crisp, refreshing structure reflect not only the purity of the variety but also the enduring spirit of the land. A great wine to serve alongside mediterranean vegetables.

What our expert thinks...

Whilst you may be wondering what to expect from the lesser-known Feteasca Alba from Romania, it’s a charming hidden gem you’ll be delighted you’ve found. Fresh, bright and effortlessly charming, expect pear, green apple and a squeeze of citrus, lifted by a clean, mineral edge. A whisper of almond on the finish makes it perfect with lemony fish, soft goat’s cheese or simply chilled and savoured.

I can't put my finger on it but the odour from the glass is unpleasant and detracts from the flavour of the wine in the mouth which is quite pleasant. Glad I tried it but wouldn't have another.

Contrary to most of the reviews I liked this one. I found it smooth, not too sweet or dry, it had a lemony finish but I also got a hint of rose water, which meant it wasn't sharp. Wine is indeed a matter of taste & each to their own.

Frankly, this is quite the worst white wine I have tasted. It has an unpleasant musty taste and I couldn't even manage to finish one glass. Very disappointing
