Just off the coast of South Australia is the Great Australian Bight, a powerful yet elegant bay of turquoise blue waters, respected and loved by anyone who lays eyes on it. It was only right that we paid homage to this great bay with this wine. Sourced from coastal vineyards benefitting from the Bight's cooling influence, this Merlot has an abundance of blackberry, black pepper and mint notes, tempered by a lifting freshness. Pair alongside a barbecued steak with crispy rosemary-salted chips.

You don't so much drink The Bight Merlot as immerse yourself in its soft, lush character. A wine packed full of ripe black cherry and hints of cocoa, this is a wine for a cosy night in with a classic movie. If you're looking for a food match, make it something easy like a classic spaghetti.
