Its current winemakers are proud to follow in his footsteps and each and every bottle they make pays homage to his memory. The range is entirely estate-grown and made, and each year they hold a festival in their home town of Calahorra to celebrate the new vintage. This classic Rioja boasts typical aromas of ripe strawberry, dark berry fruits and a gentle clove note, while the smooth, rich palate exhibits complex liquorice and plum.
