'The Berry Field', with neatly orientated vines and undulating topography, is home to hundreds of bunches of tiny berries, ripening steadily under the influence of the warm sun, yet all the while protected from the extremes by a canopy of leaves. A classic combination of Syrah and Grenache - lashings of juicy black fruit and delicate peppery spice are a perfect representation of the generous climate and fertile soils that these fortunate grape vines call home.

Casa Aguila showcases the practice of maturation. Being held in oak barrels, the wine can slowly breathe, taking on subtle notes from the barrel and developing its fruit character from primary to tertiary and complex. With its deep ruby colour, this wine offers a complex bouquet of mature fruits and subtle oak notes. On the palate it delights with its full-bodied structure, elegant tannins and a long, lingering finish.
